Live Blood Analysis
I am so excited to share my passion and help others move a step closer to obtaining True Wellness for themselves!
Laura Hunter, BSA - Certified Live Blood Analyst and Founder of Revyve True Wellness

Since founding REVYVE True Wellness in 2019, I have focused on providing clients with a science-based, individualized approach to health. With a strong foundation in biological science and a deep respect for the body’s complexity, I use Live and Dry Blood Analysis as investigative tools to assess internal health in real time. This method allows me to identify nutritional deficiencies, digestive dysfunction, inflammation, and other underlying imbalances — offering clients a detailed view of their biological landscape and a clear path toward optimized wellness.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Saskatchewan, with extensive experience in food safety, product development, and quality assurance. After more than a decade in the food industry, I experienced my own health challenges that conventional methods failed to explain. A personal experience with Live Blood Analysis provided the missing insight and ignited a passion for functional wellness. I pursued formal training in Applied Nutritional Microscopy in 2019, completing both the Basic and Advanced levels in Vancouver.
Now, through REVYVE, I work with clients to uncover root causes and support the body’s innate ability to heal. I don’t aim to diagnose or treat disease — rather, I provide education, data, and direction, empowering individuals to make informed decisions and take ownership of their health journey.

I am thrilled to be able to offer this tool and knowledge to others to help them get a little closer to obtaining their idea of True Wellness!
What is Live Blood Analysis?
Live Blood Analysis (LBA) is an assessment tool where we observe a small drop of YOUR blood, taken from your finger tip, under a high-powered, Darkfield microscope. The sample is observed immediately so the cells are in their 'living' state. A camera mounted on the microscope displays the image on a monitor so you can see exactly what we are seeing. Through this assessment, information on the ecology of the blood, sometimes referred to as the 'biological terrain' is discussed.

What is Dry Blood Analysis?
Similar to LBA, Dry Blood Analysis (also called an Oxidative Stress Test) uses a drop of YOUR blood, but it is allowed to dry on the slide before observation under the microscope. Different patterns and formations showing in the dry blood are an amazing wealth of information concerning a persons' health. While the Live Blood shows a more immediate picture, the dry blood test shows a more long-term picture of potential damage, as well as present conditions.

What phenomena may be observed?
-
Health of Digestive System - how well does your body extract the nutrients and energy it needs out of the food you put in it?
-
Detection of the presence of parasites, bacteria, Candida/yeast/fungus
-
Vitamin and mineral deficiencies
-
Health of Red Blood Cells
-
Level of activity of the immune system
-
Free radical cellular damage
-
Organ stress and toxicity - liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, lungs, prostate, reproductive organs
-
Heavy metal toxicity
-
Cholesterol, plaque, and uric acid crystals
-
Lymphatic and adrenal stress and congestion
-
Congestion of the circulatory system
-
Dehydration
-
Colon toxicity, poor absorption
-
Level of systemic inflammation
-
and many more...
How can analysis help me?
At REVYVE TRUE WELLNESS, we believe in using a holistic approach to improve overall health and wellness. Using the observations from the Live and Dry Blood Analysis, a report will be given, along with recommendations in regards to diet, supplementation, exercise and lifestyle. We have all new blood in our body every 3-4 months, so upon following recommendations, you can change your health and feel improvements quite rapidly. True Wellness is attainable when you feel empowered seeing how you can change your own body from the inside out!
Where does it come from?
Analyzing the blood through microscopy has been practiced for over 100 years. LBA and DBA was developed in Germany by scientists and doctors who had a different view on how the body works and regulates its internal systems. Dr. G. Gunther Enderlein is just one of the early researchers who pioneered these Dark Field methods. Dry blood analysis originated in Europe in the 1920's and was brought to the USA in the 30's. Recent research conducted in several US universities and by many independent researchers and clinics around the world has validated this test.
